The workers overfilled the bin, which was already taking up two of our eight spaces in the rear lot, so the driver wouldn’t pick it up. He left them a second bin for them to put the excess in, which they haven’t. Now we only have four spots. They started filling the second bin instead, and I guarantee they’ll overfill it too.
Here’s some of their handiwork.
They just installed this switch, and it’s upside down I guess. Off turns the lights on.
They’re almost a week past when they thought they’d be done, so they gave up on replacing the whole floor.
At least Thursday is my last day. I doubt they’ll be “finished” before then, whatever that will look like....

I’m guessing the owners went with the lowest bidder.

The corporation that owns us from another province, yes. That’s their style.

Do they expect to get thier final check?

They told the company they’d be done by sunday, so I think they’re getting $1000 taken off their check until they’re done.

Auto parts and general industrial supply

Ah ok. Yeah that’s a pretty shitty job there. Definitely got what they paid for. Nobody takes pride in their work anymore it seems.

Yeah no kidding.
People who do are definitely rare. I sent the “tile” and floor work to my tilesetter friend, and he’s horrified.

Fools, always go with the second lowest bidder. The lowest will either do a shitty job, or load way up on extras and blow past their quote. The second lowest is typically a somewhat honest estimate of what the job should cost.

Best wishes with everything
Some people just don’t embarrass easy, do they? Or even at all

Damn. And these guys are going to get paid for their work? How do you fuck up the tile that bad, especially since that stuff most likely comes in sheets?

I guess so, but probably not much if they keep taking this long. Right? It does come in sheets, I have no clue how they did it that bad
